我院民俗学专业与中国民间文学专业,是在原山东大学民俗学研究所的基础上组建的,主任为叶涛教授。民俗学专业拥有独立的硕士点 , 民间文学专业拥有独立的硕士点和博士点。
山东大学是国内较早开展民俗学教学和科研的高校 之一。早在 20 世纪 80 年代民俗学在我国恢复之初,我校便在中文系开设了民俗学的硕士研究生课程。 1984 年,我校筹建社会学系时,设立了民俗学教研室。 1987 年 11 月,在原社会学系民俗学教研室的基础上成立山东大学民俗学研究所,该所当时是国内唯一独立建制的民俗学专业研究机构。 2002 年山东大学文史哲研究院成立,民俗学研究所并入研究院。本院的民俗学专业下设理论民俗学、中国民俗史、比较民俗学和应用民俗学 4 个研究方向。
山东大学的民间文学专业有着悠久的历史。 20 世纪 50 年代,我校是国内最早开设民间文学课程的高校之一。关德栋教授的俗文学和敦煌学研究在国际学术界有较大影响,李万鹏教授的中国曲艺和民间小戏研究、叶涛教授的中国戏曲民俗研究在国内也独树一帜。本院的中国民间文学专业博士点下设民间文学、中国民间文学史、民俗与民间叙事研究 3 个研究方向。硕士点下设中国民间文学理论研究、中国民间文学史、中国俗文学与俗文学史、当代民间文学研究 4 个研究方向。
两专业现有教授 3 名,讲师 3 名,另有校内外兼职研究人员多名。博士生导师齐涛教授,研究方向为中国民俗史和中国古代社会史,主要著作有《中国民俗史论》、《魏晋隋唐乡村社会研究》、《丝绸之路探源》等。叶涛教授,研究方向为民俗学民间文学基础理论、戏曲民俗和区域民俗,主要著作有《民俗学导论》、《山东民俗》、《中国京剧习俗》等。博士生导师马新教授,研究方向为中国古代乡村社会史,主要著作有《两汉乡村社会史》等。著名民俗学民间文艺学家刘铁梁教授为本院中国民间文学专业的兼职博士生导师。
两专业的教师现承担着多项国家、省部和学校的科研课题,其中正在进行调研的课题有:“中国古代乡村宗族研究”(教育部重点课题)、“山东省民俗文化资源的开发与利用”(山东省“十五”重点社科课题)等。此外还多次与日本、韩国、德国、澳大利亚等国家和香港、台湾的学者联合进行田野调查,共同开展相关课题的研究。由齐涛担任主编、叶涛担任副主编的国家十五重点出版规划项目――《中国民俗通志》,是目前国内规模最大的民俗文化丛书,该丛书共 22 卷 24 册, 1000 万字, 4000 幅图,将从 2004 年起由山东教育出版社陆续推出。
两专业还编辑着目前国内唯一公开发行的民俗学理论刊物――《民俗研究》。《民俗研究》创办于 1985 年 10 月,国家教育部主管,山东大学主办, 1988 年起国内外公开发行,是中国人文社会科学核心期刊,在国内外学术界享有较高声誉。自 1999 年起,经有关部门批准,该杂志先后曾由山东画报出版社、山东教育出版社协办。现由山东大学主办,学术质量和印装水平均有较大提高。《民俗研究》由国内知名民俗学者组成编委会,编委会主任齐涛,现任主编叶涛。
Folklore and Chinese folk literature
The two specialties folklore and Chinese folk literature of our institute are based on the previous folklore research institute of Shandong University. The director is Professor Yetao. Folklore has its own graduate education; Chinese folk literature has its own graduate education and doctoral program.
Shandong University is one of the colleges and universities in China which carried out earlier teaching and research in folklore. As early as 1980s when folklore was rebuilt in China, postgraduate courses for folklore were opened in the Department of Chinese of Shandong University. In 1984 when we constructed the Department of sociology, the folklore teaching and researching office was set up. In November in 1987, the folklore research institute of Shandong University was based on the previous folklore teaching and researching office of the Department of sociology.It became the only one institute for folklore research which had independent organization system then. In 2002, Institute of Literature History ﹠ Philosophy Shandong University was founded, at the same time, the folklore research institute was integrated into Institute of Literature History ﹠ Philosophy. Folklore graduate education of the institute has four research directions: theoretical folklore, the history of Chinese folklore, comparative folklore and applied folklore.
Folk literature of Shandong University has a long history. In 1950s , the university was one of the colleges and universities in China which opened the courses for folk literature at the earliest. Professor Guan Dedong’s research in popular literature and Dunhuangnology has important influence in the international academia. Professor Li Wanpeng’s research in Chinese quyi (Chinese folk art forms) and folk small dramas is unique, as well as Professor Yetao’s research in Chinese opera folklore. Chinese folk literature doctoral program of the institute has three research directions: folk literature, the history of Chinese folk literature, folklore and the folk narrative. Its graduate education has four research directions: theory research of Chinese folk literature, the history of Chinese folk literature, Chinese popular literature and the history of Chinese popular literature, the research in the present folk literature.
The two specialties have three professors, three instructors, along with several part-time researchers. Doctoral supervisor Professor Qi Tao’s research directions are the history of Chinese folklore and the history of Chinese society. His main works include the Historiography of Chinese Folklore, the Research in the Society of Wei, Jin, Sui, Tang Dynasties, Research on the Origin of the Silk Road and so on .? Professor Yetao’s? research directions are the basic theories of folklore and folk literature, Chinese opera folklore and territorial folklore. His main woks are the Introduction to Folklore, Shandong Folklore, Chinese Peking Opera Folklore etc. Doctoral supervisor Professor Ma Xin’s research direction is the ancient history of Chinese country society. The History of the Country Society during the Two Han Dynasties is her main work. The famous scholar of folklore and folk literature and art, Professor Liu Tieliang is the part-time doctoral supervisor of the specialty Chinese folk literature of the institute.
The teachers of the two specialties are responsible for many national, provincial and ministerial or university scientific research projects. The investigating projects as follows: research in Chinese ancient country agnation (key task project of the Education Ministry); the exploitation and utilization of folklore culture resources in Shandong province ( key task social science project of the 10th five-year plan of Shandong province ) etc. Besides, they often cooperate with the scholars from Japan, Korea, Germany, Australia, Hong Kong and Taiwan to carry out field work, and also start relational research together. Chinese Folklore General Records, the key project of national 10th five-year publishing plan, is the biggest series of folklore culture. The editor in chief of the series is professor Qi Tao and the subeditor is Professor Ye Tao. The series, including 22 volumes 24 books, 10 000 000 words, 4 000 pictures will be published in succession by Shandong Education Press.
The two specialties edit the only academic journal of folklore which is published in China— Folklore Studies. Folklore Studies was started in October 1985 and published domestically and abroad from 1988. It is in the charge of national education ministry and its sponsor is Shandong University. It is one of the core periodicals of Chinese humanistic social science, with a good reputation in domestic and abroad academia. Since 1999, the journal had been managed with the company of Shandong Pictorial Press and Shandong education Press. At present it is sponsored by Shandong University, and its academic quality and printing level are both greatly improved. The editorial committee of Folklore Studies is made up of the domestic famous folklorists. The director of the editorial committee is Qi Tao and the present editor in chief is Ye Tao.
